Welcome International Students and First-Time Refugees!
We are excited to welcome international students and first-time refugee players to join our soccer community. At Rutland Youth Soccer Association (RYSA), we believe in creating opportunities for all youth to participate in the game, regardless of their background.
To be eligible to play with any club under the Central Okanagan Youth Soccer Association (COYSA), international students and first-time registering refugees must complete the International Transfer Certificate (ITC) process, as required by Canada Soccer.
📄 The complete ITC document can be found HERE .
International Students - Please refer to Checklist E (Page 16)
Refugees - Please refer to Checklist G (Page 19)
A letter from the club is required to accompany your application. To prepare this, we will need the player’s full name and date of birth. Please contact our Club Administrator at admin@rutlandyouthsoccer.ca to begin the process.
Please note: There may be a processing fee charged by BC Soccer or Canada Soccer. This fee is not covered by COYSA or RYSA.
Processing times can vary and typically range from 2 to 6 weeks or longer depending on individual circumstances. We recommend beginning the process as early as possible to avoid delays.
We are here to assist you every step of the way and look forward to having you on the field with us!
