Welcome Coaches! Please see below for information, and links to helpful resources.
All coaches are required to register and complete training based on the age group they are coaching. You will need to pay for this upfront and then you may submit your receipt along with your completion certificate to RYSA (admin@rutlandyouthsoccer.ca) for reimbursement once you have completed the season coaching with us.
Please follow the following link https://canada-soccer.myshopify.com/collections/grassroots-coaching-education-program Mark “on behalf of organization” enter Rutland Youth Soccer. You have till March 31st to complete your course. Each course is approximately 1 hour.
- Active Start is Ages 4-6
- Fundamentals is Ages 6-9
- Learn to train is Ages 9-12
- Soccer for Life is Ages 12 +
… If you are coaching U6 you only need to take Active Start… If you are coaching U9 you only need to take Fundamentals… If you are coaching ages U6 and U9 you will need to take Active Start and Fundamentals. If you have any questions about which course you need to take please do not hesitate to ask.
Once you complete the purchase you will receive a Key. You will then need to create an account and log into https://app.smarteru.com/Custom/CanadaSoccer/registration.cfm
After registration is complete the link is https://canadasoccer.smarteru.com/remote-login/login.cfm#/cat/4895/pg/18650 Each course will reference the on field practical sessions, our on field practical sessions will be held:
- April 30th for Active Start and Learn to Train.
- May 7th for Fundamentals and Soccer for Life.
